To use the skill, select Discordance from your skill list, play a musical instrument, and then target the creature you wish to affect. If successful, the creature will suffer a reduction to its skills and attributes for a short time, making it less effective in combat and more susceptible to other bardic influences.

Each attempt to use this skill is checked against both your Discordance and your Musicianship skill to determine your chances of success. You must remain within range of your target for the effect to continue, and once it ends, the creature’s abilities will return to normal.
